Parsons Police Chief Robert Spinks said, "We have again come to another case that is primarily hidden behind closed doors. Again, these are the hardest cases to prevent due to victims are the primary reporters. Sometimes these cases can be reported and others they are not reported until it is too late. Fortunately, this was reported before it turned deadly. I want all victims of domestic violence to feel like they can step forward and be confident that the police are there to help."
If you or anyone you know is a victim of domestic violence please call 911 or notify police at (620) 421-7060. More information for victim assistance can be found on the Parsons Police Department website at www.parsonspd.com/crime-victim-information.
