The Parsons police Department is advising the following information based on media inquiries regarding a recent theft case. The Parsons Police Department initiated a criminal investigation on November 2, 2019. This investigation involved a criminal complaint that alleged a theft of property in excess of $1,500.00 by an Insley Evans. During the investigation the victim and Evans came to a civil arrangement which closed the case.

We are aware of several potential endeavors the Evans has shared in the community ranging from a 24-hour childcare center to a celebrity restaurant among others.

We are not aware of the viability of the corporate name of 'Khameleon, Inc.' which lists Evans as the lone corporate officer.

We have had inquiries about Evans, but currently can offer a "buyer beware", whenever a person offers investing, selling, or purchasing opportunities.

This continues to be an on-going investigation and citizens are encouraged to "See It, Hear It, Report It."
