Parsons Police Chief Robert Spinks said, "It is thankful that witnesses were able to call 911 and report this incident. Domestic Violence has long plagued our city and our families. Here is a domestic with a young child involved, these types of domestic situations can turn deadly especially with children involved. See It, Hear It, Report It works great for a lot of criminal activity, but domestics are usually not one of them. It is thankful that this situation was able to be observed and reported before more serious or permanent harm could be done."
