Parsons Police Department Recognizes Veteran Employees
The Parsons Police Department is proud to recognize and honor its veteran employees on Veterans Day, November 11th, 2023. These individuals have not only served our country with distinction but continue to serve our community with dedication and commitment.
The Parsons Police Department takes great pride in saluting the following veterans among their ranks, who have demonstrated unwavering courage and a strong sense of duty to protect and serve:
- Lieutenant Jason Ludwig - U.S. Navy, U.S. Army Veteran
- Detective Brice Dickens - U.S. Army Veteran
- Officer Mark Raney - U.S. Marine Corps Veteran
- Officer Sean McCullough - U.S. Army Veteran
- Officer Blake Sanchez - U.S. Army Veteran
- Records Coordinator Marshall Sills - U.S. Army Veteran
Each of these dedicated individuals has brought their unique experiences, skills, and expertise to the Parsons Police Department, enhancing the department's ability to serve the community effectively. Their military service has instilled in them a deep sense of honor, discipline, and commitment, which they continue to demonstrate in their roles as law enforcement officers and support staff.
Chief of Police, Robert Spinks, expresses his gratitude for the contributions of these veteran employees, saying, "Our veteran employees have consistently shown exceptional dedication to our community, and their military backgrounds have provided them with invaluable skills that benefit the department and the City of Parsons as a whole. We are immensely proud of their service and their continued dedication to public safety. As the son of a WWII Veteran as well as a father to an Army Ranger, I know all too well the sacrifices that these individuals and their families have made for their country and now their community."
