Corporal Smith, who joined the Parsons Police Department in 2019, has consistently demonstrated a commitment to upholding the highest standards of law enforcement. His remarkable contributions as a K9 Handler for K9 Morgan have not only enhanced the department's capabilities but have also strengthened community relations.

In 2023, Corporal Smith earned a well-deserved promotion to the rank of Corporal, reflecting his exemplary performance, leadership qualities, and dedication to the Parsons Police Department. His achievements have set a commendable standard for his peers and inspired the entire law enforcement community.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Corporal Smith is a devoted family man, residing in Parsons with his wife and their daughter. This award not only recognizes his individual achievements but also acknowledges the support and sacrifices made by his family in his pursuit of excellence in law enforcement.

The award ceremony, hosted by VFW Post 704, took place on February 14, 2023, at the VFW.
