INFORMATION WANTED

05/07/2019

The Parsons Police Department has been handing out wanted posters. This is a part of a new initiative to gather information leading to a successful arrest in major crimes for our city.

Parsons Police Chief Robert Spinks says, "we are going to use all available legal means necessary to bring suspects to justice in our city. You commit a heinous crime or act you will be tracked down and arrested."

Chief Spinks and his officers will be the tip of the sword in removing crime from Parsons. He calls on the citizens of Parsons to help in the best way possible 'See It, Hear It, Report It'. This is not just a motto it is a way for citizens to help law enforcement clean up the city and bring those that put our children and innocents at risk to justice.

"See It, Hear It, Report It", "Rat on a Rat" is all the same principal for police. With only having 3 to 5 officers covering approximately 10 square miles of jurisdiction it is impossible for officers to have eyes everywhere.  Therefore, we call upon the citizens of Parsons to let us know when they see odd behavior or suspicious circumstances. Approximately 9,000 pairs of eyes have significantly higher odds of catching bad guys doing bad things rather than just the few pairs of Law Enforcement eyes. Policing is a partnership & joint community responsibility.

Please take a minute and review this Wanted Poster and let us know if you have heard anything or seen anything. Remember that even if the wheels of justice turn slowly, they won't turn at all unless there is good information to act on.

This continues to be an on-going investigation and citizens are encouraged to "See It, Hear It, Report It." If anyone has any further information on this incident or any other criminal activity, please contact the Parsons Police Department at 421-7060 or call the Tip Line at 421-7057 or email at tips@parsonspd.com.
