Beginning in 2024, the Parsons Police Department will have a full-time Community Oriented Policing Coordinator, Mark Raney focusing on the needs of the citizens and businesses to partner to reduce crime or the opportunity for crime to occur in Parsons.
Programming will include:
- Operation Identification
- Home Security Surveys
- Personal Protection
- Distribution of Gun Locks
- Business Robbery Prevention
- Business Security Surveys
Each of these programs will be highlighted using social media, TV, radio and newspapers to share crime prevention tips and information.
