Investigation Division

The Parsons Police Department Investigation Division is multifaceted and responds to emergencies as needed 24-7. They investigate all felony related crimes from death investigations, aggravated persons crimes to felony level drug cases. This includes crimes against children or the elderly. The Investigation Division works closely with outside law enforcement agencies and other governmental entities. Working closely with other departments and divisions gains a positive networking capability for the Parsons Police Department and the City of Parsons.

The Investigation Division is staffed by three Detectives who work out of the Police Annex at 1831 Washington. This facility provides ease of accessibility to the Investigation Division and their affiliates. This also give victims piece of mind when speaking to Detectives as they are away from the main department.

The annex also houses the Kansas Combined Anti-Drug Task Force that includes a member of the Parsons Police Department as the Lieutenant in charge, and is partnered with the Labette County Sheriff's Office and the Labette County Attorney's Office.
